Star Wars.....a perfect example of taking a great idea and ruining it! Loved the first three and then they just got greedy and even went PC.

Clone wars and Star Wars rebels very good

Mandalorian is awesome.

As for the films, I liked the new ones. Not as good as the originals but didn't expect them to be.

Rogue one though is up there with the originals. Better than return of the Jedi and probably alongside empire strikes back as the best.

Extraction

I don't know how to rate it on a scale of 1-10, but it's one of those action movies where you're content with turning your brain off and watching things go boom.

1989 and Wenger

Postby Andy1985 » Wed May 13, 2020 12:37 am

I’ve just watched 89 on Sky Sports, one thing that sticks in my head is the fact the players said George Graham cared more about the teams togetherness than anything and when you listen to the players 10 years later under Wenger say the same thing about that togetherness and trust in the players. Great managers, different styles of management and playing style but they had that one thing in common and that’s what made them 2 of the best managers in our history. Regardless of their position in the history of the club I was born in 1985 and my first moment of pure joy was Arsenal 1994 v Parma and all the joys Wenger brought after. Love this club

Went cinema to watch this. Was too young to watch it back in 89 and only got in to football a year later thanks to the cup final and Italia 90. Gutted I missed out on it by a year and the feeling Arsenal fans must've got. I've seen us win 4 titles since but all were piss easy.

Watching Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

2 hours in. Nothing has happened.

By far the worst Quentin movie. I like Leo and Pitt and they are fine in it for a film that doesn't have anything in it. I mean seriously wtf.

In to the past 20 odd mins. Unless it has an endgame style ending, this is a massive flop and can see why it was nominated for an oscar.

Well that ending was not expected at all. After 2 hours of f all, that was awesome.

Brad Pitt is a legend.

Amy Adams has 6 nominations without a win.
