FA Cup Semi

Postby Pat Rice in Short Shorts » Sun Jun 28, 2020 6:44 pm

City...f**k me.
What would Nasri do? Never mind.
What would Eboue do? Fall off the stretcher.
What would Auba do? Just f***ing score.

If Xhaka plays we have like a 10% chance grinding it out and winning on penalties

Arteta will probably get schooled by his pal like last time, then maybe Guardiola will tell everyone how Arteta will make a great manager again.

Forfeit the game. Take the 3-0 loss

It'll be much worse if we play

This isn't 2017.

We grinded out a win against Sheffield United. City is like facing peak Barca these days, for us.

So yeah.

Got some tough games coming up before that so we will either be going into it with some confidence or we’ll be at a real low.

Either way, It’s good to play them. This lot need conditioning.

Good draw I think if the players have the metal and the desire to lift a trophy we should see a performance

This season we're pretty much outsiders looking into EU. So take every game as a challenge. I'm ok as long as we don't gift games away like Luiz did against MC.
Good match practice session .

Meh, was always going to come down to playing good sides if we wanted to lift the cup.

Do I think we'll beat City to advance to the final? Nope. But that doesn't mean stranger things haven't happened in one-offs.

You have to catch up with someone before you can kick them.
