Barcelona's unipolarity in LaLiga?

Postby Whitapers » Fri Jan 18, 2019 12:46 pm

Since Ronaldo has left Real Madrid, I think their team has not been able to match up to Messi and Suarez's Barcelona. I think they are at number 4 now. No real competition, seemingly, in LaLiga anymore. If Barcelona hadn't dropped so many points, they would have been miles ahead of the other teams, I think Sevilla is second.

I think you're absolutely right that if they had dropped less points, they would have more points

Ronaldo's goals were papering over a lot of cracks at Real that have been busted wide open. Even with him they'd get their ass handed to them in El Clasico more often than not.

Bale is the only starting forward they've bought in 10 years, and that's finally catching up to them. Hazard will be joining them a little too late in his career to swing the momentum away from Barca.

I guess you're right about that. I just think with Ronaldo they might have still done slightly better in the league, not sure about the El Clasico.

Too injury prone. Lots of talk about Hazard, waiting for some confirmation actually.
