I'm sorry i reckon we could've gotten away with ozil in that team. People act like he's never pressed before he's not great in the tackle but wenger played high pressing with ozil and alexis for ages resulting in some of our best wins (liverpool 4-1, united 3-0, chelsea 3-0 etc)

I hope to god this is the plan from here on out we looked so much better and it is no coincidence. 4-1-2-1-2 fits the players we have best, I include ozil in that.

Someone, give this man a beer

Cause Wenger only managed arsenal for one season? Wake me up when he wins the league at Old Trafford or White Hart Lane.

Half a season is not really any time to judge him in a critical way, done well with some of the shit we have, yes we have quality players but the shit outweighs them. We should have maximum points against Chelsea. it is trial and error with him when it comes to formation and team selection, next season is when it comes down to if he can cut it or not in this leauge and us

His 11 and bench against Chelsea were top class. Please stop the shit squad nonsense. He just needs to learn how to use them.

^ Think he means that we have a quality squad and Emery needs to get the best out of it.

well mustafi says hi, if we were that good we be top. We have quality no doubt in laca, auba, ozil,Bellrin etc but some shit like mustafi, iwobi, xhaka cech(great keeper in his day but past it and cost us points we should not have lost) every squad has trash even city. I am happy so far with Emery. of course I question his tactics and formation just like the rest of you at times but I am pleased with the results so far, it was never going to be fairytale stuff but that is just my opinion

Credit to Emery for getting that result for a must win game against a top club. Performances like that give me hope.

We don't have a quality squad. I don't understand why you think we do. We have a mediocre squad with a few top class players.

Cech - past it
Lichtsteiner - past it
Iwobi - average
Elneny - average
Sokratis - decent but not top class
Koscielny - past it
Mkhitaryan - average
Ramsey - decent but not top class
Lacazette - class act
Bellerin - class act
Ozil - talented but questionable work ethic
Torreira - class act
Xhaka - average at best
Aubameyang - class act
Maitland-Niles - average
Holding - good player but injury prone
Mustafi - average
Monreal - past it
Leno - decent but not top class
Welbeck - average
Jenkinson - average
Guendouzi - good prospect
Mavrapanos - good prospect
Kolasinac - average

Our squad is littered with mediocrity and is imbalanced.

He's done as well as he can do with these set of players and when you factor in the horrific luck we've had with injuries.

He's made some mistakes sure, but it's his first season at the club, he was bound to.

Also, Emery's record in the big games has been called into question, but he's done ok this season.

Draw at Old Trafford against Man United, battered Tottenham, comfortably dispatched Chelsea, drew with title-favourites Liverpool at The Emirates.

I think it's been mentioned before, we already have more points against the top 6 sides than we did for the whole of last season. And we still have 3 games to go against United, City and Spurs.

Don't think we'll get anything against City, but we are more than capable of beating United and Spurs. So our record vs top 6 could conceivably get better.
