It’s easy to see why he said Wilsh from a technical point of view. He’s arguably the most gifted in that front since someone like Gazza

But in his prime Wilshere was a very very good midfielder, Kane hasn’t even hit his peak yet imo and he’s a top 5 striker in the world

Such tiresome statements ...

Best overall 'midfield' English player in England by a country mile is Dele Alli ... hence his 150m valuation ...

We used to trot out the same tired arguments in Walnut v Bale ... anyone still think Walnut is better?

If you're talking about specific roles, not just midfield, then Jack is arguably the best English player at what he does .... but bear in mind that 'arguably the best in England' has driven us to a magnificent 6th place ... and that's playing with the likes of Ozil, Myki, Alexis/Abu ... what does that tell you?

Jack is good, is he EPL or CL good? not by a long way .... it's not 'hate' it's just looking at 12 years of on field evidence .....

Jep. Imagine raving about a midfielder who is getting outscored by all our defenders bar holding. Dear god

Wilshere is a CM.

Alli is a CAM.

Being a midfielder isn't all about scoring goals Alli should be outscoring Wilshere every single season.

It's like talking to a kid.

Whether a footballer play well or not isn't even about the goals. it's about being participative on the pitch, getting the ball frequently, make good decisions, not lose balls, it's never about making goals. Scoring goals doesn't mean a footballer played well. Look at Welbeck. At the end of a day the contribution footballingwise matters

It's as if people have forgotten or didn't follow Arsenal during the 2008, 2009 and 2010 pre-seasons as well as the 2010/2011 season. Jack Wilshere is and always has been a phenomenal talent.

It’s 2018, it’s been quite some time since the Barca game.

Hanging on to Wilshere is the definition of sunk cost fallacy.

Is jack really the best technically tbh, he has lovely dribbling skills, he has no right foot though, his first touch can be heavy sometimes although it is very good, not good at shooting etc...

Rooney, Gerrard, lampard and scholes could score ridiculous goals, crazy long ball passes, Jack in tight spaces might be the best but thats just one aspect of the game.

Yes i tink Welbeck is underrated amongst fans. Hes fine coz he works alot for da team and he is a pleya who runs frequently on the pitch
