Barcelona turn attention to Theo Walcott after Paulinho signing. The Cules believe that the 28 year old English international is the perfect replacement for Neymar and can be a superstar there (The Mirror)

There are always players who embody the team they're playing for. Tony Adams was the embodiment of the grit and determination of George Graham's Arsenal. The Invincibles had two faces; the tough and commanding Patrick Vieira and the supremely skillful Thierry Henry. The players who embody the current Arsenal team is Theo Walcott.

What do I mean by this? Well, Walcott represents everything wrong with Arsenal. He's a manager's favourite, which means he'll get away with anything. He gets chance after chance without any real pressure to perform. His career has stagnated badly after the 2012-13 season - the season that earned him the some £100,000 he's on now.

Essentially, Walcott has been rewarded handsomely for one good season. At no point since signing the deal has he come close to justifying his wages. But he doesn't have to. He's a nice lad who won't start moaning if the team isn't performing. He's more than happy with his comfortable life at Arsenal.

Theo Walcott is the perfect embassador for the corporate Arsenal. He doesn't perform on the pitch often enough - but why should he? He's on better money he'll ever get from any other club, and Arsenal are running on profit. There's no need to be ambitious.

16 March, 1989, it's 7 am, Theo Walcott is born

A minute passes, It's 7:01 am, the nurse passes the baby on and Theo Walcott is caught offside
