He played very well against Newcastle and Olympiakos. He's an unique talent who'll always be missed. His kind of multi dimensional midfielder doesn't exist in PL right now. Fernandes comes pretty close, minus the high press.

Arteta gave him a free role and told him to be more attacking, thats literally what changed. Its not Odegaard, its Arteta gave him freedom to play his natural game.

Now if he can do the same with the other players he has shackled, happy days.

Probably the standout that Arteta has given free range freedom too is Calafori, he is all over the pitch.

Arsenal are not willing to let 26-year-old Norway midfielder Martin Odegaard leave the club amid interest from Barcelona. (Fichajes - in Spanish)

Im done with this guy.

He is still worth a lot if money. Sell him. Sell him before potential buying clubs realise hes overpriced.

He's become a tippy tappy glorified Denilson.

At one point he was picking up the ball in the middle of the back four, when we needed him up top creating stuff. Then after the crowd yelled at him to shoot, he took about 5 secs lining up a shot, only to see it easily blocked....and never looked like getting past anyone to actually create things.

Just very disappointing.... :(

He's never had a deadly shot from open play but was once an excellent dribbler with forward momentum and set piece taker.

That is no longer the case and hasn't been for well over a year

I no longer care the reason why. I just see a player worth £50-70M whos doing essentially fk all. Cash him in before the opportunity passes.
