Same management that bought Marquinos, Lokonga and Tavarez is snubbing our academy.

You are saying it like some of our academy players have being let go and have made big impression elsewhere. From one deadwood to the next. All of those mentioned have been utter failure so has everyone in the academy.

ESR, Eddie, Nelson did they not come from the Academy although I believe Nelson and Eddie have reached their ceiling ESR is definitely better than players who have had chances before he has had opportunity in this regime

All 3 of them have no future in the club.Pretty sure they would not be playing for midtable club after they leave Arsenal they might get into btm tier Premier League club if they're lucky.Maybe one of the teams that has come up might wanna pick up Nelson.Eddie is easier to sell ,because hes a striker and there aren't many around.ESR is difficult sell with the injury record and the amount of mins he has played and the goal scoring record is awful.
Honestly if they we're not homegrown they would not command any fee all 3 of them.Maybe Nketiah like 10mil and ESR like 10mil max.

All 3 of them have no future at the club ??

Thats why Nketiah was offered and signed a 5 year contract extension in summer 2022

Thats why Nelson was offered a new 4 year contract and signed in summer 2023

ESR signed a contract extension in summer 2021

2 of the 3 have therefore signed contracts very recently, this disproves your comment that they have no future at the club.

What a mess both refused to sign a contract due to lack of progression, give it a season or two and both of them will be sold for 50 million or more, all Arteta had to do was give them 10-20 minutes in the league every now and again, a few cup appearances against weaker sides. There was no need for White, Saliba and Saka to be playing every single game and minute running them into the ground, playing through injuries.

For all his faults it’s actually a good thing Emery was a manager before Arteta, for sure Saka, Martinelli, ESR and Saliba would have been playing for other clubs.

I have my major doubts Brighton will give him lots of minutes of playing. It will be loan etc and few min here and there untill he gets to 20.
Actually i'll defend abit Arteta here.
Everyone used to whine for years that we we're not competitive with other teams and we had no chance of winning the big stuff.
Now we're operating like big club and the academy is one of the things that just can't work and give every youngster a chance.
Minutes are sparse here and there and its better to give them to the actual subs like Nketiah ,ESR, Nelson ,Kiwior, Vieira etc. than give them to 17-18 years old esp in the PL where 1 mistake can cost us the title.
On the other hand he can make changes earlier and give more minutes to the subs for sure.

ACD will be a smash at Brighton. The kid is so talented but he was never breaking into our team ahead of Saka. Still, the fact that we offered no future plan for one of the top five talents in the Academy is an awful look.

I remain unconvinced by Walters but we'll see.

Another horror moment for Edu and Arteta as Obi-Martin is set to leave.

Arteta lack of minutes to youth players and broken promises to fellow academy prospects a key reason.

Becomes the latest prospect to leave Arsenal

Dortmund , Barcelona , Bayern , Chelsea and City are all interested in signing the top youth prospect

- Hutchinson
- Walters
- Dewsbury-Hall
- Obi-Martin

Mertesacker needs to be sacked imo.

So does that new loan manager.

Spineless.

How can you allow the first team manager to block loan moves because he wants youth with the first team when he's consistent proven he will go back on his word.

Really shocking stuff.
