Szczesny actually was an outfield player as a kid but was nowhere near good enough so they put him in goal. His own words!

No way. Could've been 3-0 up with a better f***ing striker.

Giroud is ruining our ability do destroy teams. No coincidence it's when he was good (Norwich) was one of the few times we took a team to the sword.

We were poor considering the opposition we were playing and if they had a decent striker they would have got atleast 3 goals in that game. Only Ozils chance can be seen as good of a chance as the two big ones they missed when they were 1-0 up. Sometimes wins gloss over everything and a loss shows everything. The truth is somehwere in the middle. What is clear is we always start games slow nowadays and give every sh1t team a chance to get in the game and feel comfortable. This will hurt us bad if we dont change

I feel like you got off way too easy with this bullshit comment when we were 1-0 down.

We're all still laughing at you.

Its as if the team have been trained to pass-pass-pass and Podolski had to sit through an hour of that rubbish and thought f' it I'm going to shoot on sight! I love Podolski!

That's exactly it, players are just built differently in mentality just as much as anything and Theo & Podolski are strikers at heart and all they want to do is score.

Without them unless Ramsey is forcing goals for us which seems to have dried up for the moment, we just aimlessly play the ball left to right in front of goal.

As brilliant as some of our players are (Ozil, Caz, Rosciky) they are play makers not finishers.

Just be glad the dynamic duo are both back, imagine how good we'd be if we had a capable striker to go with them as well.

9 games without a goal for Giroud, fact! whens the last time an AFC starting striker had a duck like that? lets see Starmanb run up a stat for that one.

How many clear cut chances did he have?

The only clear cut chance I saw whas when Theo was put through and fluffed it.

We had loads of possession but did nothing with it - I call that poor!

I watched MOTD Giroud had a 1 vs 1 with the keeper where he shot wide and no fewer than three crosses across goal where his foot was within a yard of the ball, in fact it was much closer than a yard more like a foot and those are his spoon fed bread and butter opportunities he's supposed to be good at.

He's had 810 minutes on the field without scoring as striker ..........Podolski just back from injury scored in 10 minutes.

How anyone can defend that is beyond me.

Fat Sam ahs made it clear how he's gonna approach this game. I can see us really struggling here as we are low on confidence and will play our slow football and West Ham will get the 0-0 they want at half time. Then they will score from a set piece and we will struggle to do anything and Wenger will blame the ref and say west ham are anti football. I think we are heading for our downfall. Wenger is not a manger who can lift a team when needed and I can see us struggling for the coming few weeks

we did struggle to get that 4th goal

podolski and walcott have played together on the wings 804 mins
in that time the team have scored 33 goals
a goal every 24 mins

West Hams defence might be poor and cant score to save their lives but its a derby and at their sh*tty little ground so there will be a good atmosphere and they will be up for it. Also with Giroud being struck by the crippling illness called 'I'M DONUT' theres a lot of pressure on our midfield to score all our goals.

I forecast more fannying about with the ball with no end product!!

0 - 0!

i used to expect fanny a lot when i was younger
i was often wrong as well
