Good luck Andrey and thanks for the classy goodbye message.

+1

He had a chance of a life time. A chance any one of us and countless millions of others would die for and he blew it.

Just hope he has a long and healthy life with his family, he certainly wont be remembered as a footballing or Arsenal great.

Nobody amongst us will ever forget those four goals against 'Pool and the winner against Barca. Thank you, Shava.

Arshavin will join Khazar Lankaran and will earn £400k a week becoming the highest paid footballer in the world.”

I kid you not. This is actually happening.

Why are they giving him that? It makes no sense. It's not as if he wouldn't have accepted it if it was 100k? Are they trying to prove something or what?

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

Thanks for everything Arsh. As pro Wenger I am, I still feel he could've given him a chance to get back on track with some appearances but sadly not. He's probably got his next 4 generations safe with all that cash! We will miss you!

Like people have said, it's a shame he petered out as a footballing force but I will always remember him for the good times. Ask me in 50 years about Denilson and I'm not sure I'll recall the name but those special moments 'Shava gave us will stay with me forever. All the best Andrei!
