Don't start Santos and start Walcott on the right wing.

Apparently both Gibbs and Szczesny are back for this. Not sure how reliable that info is though. If so, I'd say the following...

Szczesny

Sagna - Mert - Verm - Gibbs

-- Arteta -------- Wilshere --

Walcott --- Cazorla --- Arshavin

------------ Podolski ------------

I thought I read the other day Szczesny wasn't going to be back for a few weeks, yet he wasn't on the injury list.

Mannone had a great game vs Manure, I wouldn't rush Szczesny back in.

I've held fire over Santos' performances of late, hoping they would improve and also cutting him some slack since he's not played much and is clearly not suited to playing as a wing-back in a back 4, but after his disgracefull behaviour at the weekend, if it were up to me he would never play for Arsenal again. I want him out the club asap. I mean, by all means, if you want to be friends with Van Persie and beg him for his shirt then fine, I dont really give a shit, but to behave as he did in front of our incredible away fans is unforgivable.

I will obviously support him when Wenger inevitably persists with him, and wish him well for the good of the team, but to say that he has instantly become my least favourite Arsenal player is an understatement.

http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archiv ... halke-trip

Well Ramsey Gervinho and Oxlade are out for this match so Walcott will start for sure, I expect him to have a good game linking up with Cazorla. Szczesny still out so Mannone it is. Gibbs is out too, so Santos will start again, unless Wenger has the balls to start with Kos or Djourou..

Probably will be:
Mannone
Sagna---Mert---Verm---Santos
Wilshere---Arteta
Walcott---Cazorla---Podolski
Giroud

Would be interesting to see how Wilshere and Walcott can upgrade our attack this time.

That's very strange. John Cross was there today, he said Szczesny was out training.

He's training but not considered as 'match fit' yet. ;)

Yeah, but they're training ahead of the Schalke game.

Yea, he could end up on the bench against Schalke but doubt he'll start any game this week mate.

The Prem is most likely gone since I don't expect us to beat Fulham either, so my team would be:

Mannone

Sagna - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Vermaelen

Wilshere - Arteta

Cazorla - Arshavin - Podolski

Walcott

Dropping Mannone after a man of the match performance would send a wrong signal.

Walcott must start along with Arshavin.

I know wenger will not employ podolski through the middle i am hoping against hope that he will.

Koscielny should get the nod ahead of Vermaelen imo.

................Podolski...............

Arshavin......Cazorla......Walcott

.........Arteta......Wilshere........

Gibbs....Merts..Koscielny..Sagna

...............Mannone..............
