St. Nicholas to come back in time for Christmas???!!

Nicklas Bendtner could be on que for a shock return to Arsenal this January – due to falling out with Juventus officials over playing time and his weight issues – just weeks after joining the Italian giants, according to The Mirror.

Although he has not featured for Arsenal in the league since May 2011 – the Dane could be in for a return to Arsenal after struggling to get regular game time for Juve. Juventus have signed Bendtner on loan for the rest of the season with an option to buy next summer – although so far on this season's proceedings it looks unlikely Bendnter will be in Turin after January let alone May.

Bendtner, 24, has made just one league appearance for Juventus this season as a substitute– recently criticized Arsenal's training compared to his new surroundings.

Bendner said: “At Juventus, the training has been different to - and much harder than - anything I've done before.”

However, due to the lack of playing time in Turin; speculation has increased and Bendtner is in line for a shock return to Arsenal.

Tom Brooks, Bendnters agent, told The Mirror; “Why isnt he playing? In all honesty, you'd have to ask Antonio Conte – He is too strng a player to stay on the bench, its not good for him or Juventus to keep him there. If it continues like this, we will consider our options. Could have be from January? We'll talk about it over the next few weeks.”

Bendtner is currently under contract with Arsenal until 2014 – with Juve having the option to sign the forward at the end of the season – Arsenal may be keen to ensure the big Dane remains in Turin - if they are keen to get rid off him.

However, with just one recognized striker at the club under the name of Olivier Giroud – who is failing to live up to the hype. Wenger may welcome back Bendnter with open arms as his side is desperate for goals.

Forgive me for pointing out the obvious but January follows December. If he's back in January he will in fact NOT be in time for Christmas.

:rofll:

I would have him back. Had a decent scoring record for us.

I still want to see Podolski played centrally though.

Hence my question!! :-) Will he be brought home in time to be trumpeted as "it's like a new signing" before January!!

I wouldn't mind, that's how desperate I am for someone who might be able to score.

With a changed attitude then maybe it would be a good thing.
I want Carl Jenkinson back in a Arsenal shirt next season.

Unless our midfield starts providing some chances again, I don't think he'd make much of a difference.

He'll come back, then get loaned out to another team. Or he'll reach some kind of agreement to train with the first team (to stop being such a tub o' lard!) and play weekly with the reserves/yoots.

I'd be very surprised to see him ever play for the first team again.

maybe he would score more goals than giroud?

I don't know. I like nic as a player but he's to arrogant!

I prefer Giroud as type but I think nic would do us good playing upfront.

Ahhh

But...

I believe that next year there might well be a Christmas due later in the year.

So....

It never said which Christmas we were talking about, did it.
