Mannone
Jenkinson Mert Vermaelen Gibbs
Diaby Arteta
Cazorla
Walcott Giroud Podolski

Important we keep playing Giroud until he scores imo, he would lose all confidence if we didn't start him. Same with Mertesacker really, it would be unfair to drop him just because Kos is back, he deserves that spot atleast until we concede...

edit: same with Mannone too. There's no need to change a working defence

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

Play the Ox and Theo on opposite wings. I think it would be deadly plus it would really rub Southampton's nose in it

totally agree.

Southampton lost against manU and city but they played really well. I think this will be a difficult game.

Buoyed by their near heroics against Manure, i recon they will come out fighting against us from the off. I think this is what will be their downfall, as i have a feeling Grioud will get off the mark and there will be another masterclass from Cazorla.

I recon our defence will be too much for Lambert and co, but we'll probably concede 1 (cant live the dream forever!).

Agreed.

If they attack, we will exploit.

Cazorla is floating at the moment, and Giroud just needs that one goal. Everything is golden!

I'd play the same squad. The only change would probably be Gervinho in for Chamberlain. Southampton would come all guns glazing after the "upsets" against City and especially United. We have to be careful and Lambert looks to be a beast.

Anyone know the odds on us getting a clean sheet? Seems to be a good bet.

If Mert/Verm can handle Lambert, We go out with same team. Only thing I would change is Chez in for Vito, if he's fit. I don't trust Mannone with Lambert in the box. Other than that we look all set. Gerv might come back for Ox, and Theo might get a start. I only say this because I expect Wenger to rotate wings this year.
