I didnt realise Gyan fk'd off to Saudi until MOTD, explains how they could afford Bendy.

He did alright against Chelsea but different style of team.

back on topic

I think Bendtner could shine in Sunderland, especially with Gyan away. Lets hope he has a good season get 20+ and walks back into the team next seasons. He does have amazing ability, he just doesnt show it.

I was hoping he would actually play up top with Gyan, until he f***ked off on loan to god knows where, that would have been some partnership.

Anyway, if Bendy does really well it'll just put him in the shop window, he won't play for us again unless he has a magnificent season and AW begs him to stay.

I'd say Wenger would have to beg him to stay. He hasnt been given a credible chance, hes been played out of position and hasn't been given a sustained league run. Not sure he links up well with VP but he's a good striker in his own right. Single handily carries the Danes.

Him and Eriksen pretty much carry the team i agree.

I've wanted to see RvP and Bendtner up front for a long time, Van Persie prefers a slightly deeper role so him supporting a striker with movement as good as Bendtner would have in theory, been something very good.

But its over now, Bendtner made his decision and i don't blame him for it.

Can't blame the lad to be honest.

He only played a handful of games last season and everytime he was played out of position on the wing.... Adding to that Chamakh is somehow ahead of him in the pecking order... f**k knows why though!

I hope he leaves and has a shit hot careear somewhere, just so Wenger realises how much of an idiot he was letting him go.

I'd like him to do well so he fetches more money, well more than the zilch other managers were willing to offer, but hey what do premiership managers know?

Shame he's not playing giants like Leyton Orient week in week out, then he'd really shine.

A neutrals appraisal

NB
The focal point of the Sunderland, gave John Terry a torrid time but flatters to deceive, missing a sitter by nodding Sebastian Larsson’s free-kick wide with just Petr Cech to beat at 0-0.

RvP
On the periphery of the game in the first half but came to the fore after the break. Close to working the second goal with a fine run that culminated in a right-foot shot deflecting off the post. Subbed with 10 minutes left.

Mmmm odd they don't tally with yours in'it, no really I'm most surprised :rofll:

Hat-trick at home though I think?

Hmm so he gave John Terry a torrid time and he's crap? RvP didn't score, but hit the post so that makes all the difference in the world? In case you missed the game, and I'm sure you were out telling criticizing 5 year olds about something or other, RvP was rubbish for much of Saturdays game.
Then again why let facts get in the way when you can watch MOTD and then pretend you know everything.
