Bendtner and Gyan potentially sounds lethal

Give him some first team action as you see and see how he gets on, as in the past when he's not been on the wing for Arsenal he's been decidedly shite.

he like alot of our strikers is not suited as a lone striker and certainly not a wing any muppet would know that

Be glad if it's loan deal. I still think he's got potential and he will play more games fro Sunderland so we can really see if he can shine

Nicklas Bendtner loaned to Sunderland

Striker Nicklas Bendtner has joined Sunderland on a season-long loan.

With new signing South Korea captain Chu Young Park joining a front line that also includes Robin van Persie, Marouane Chamakh and Gervinho, Bendtner will spend the 2011/12 campaign at the Stadium of Light.

The 23-year-old Denmark international has featured 156 times for Arsenal scoring 45 times, since joining the Club as a youth player in 2004.

A former Danish player of the Year, he has 38 caps and 12 goals for his country.

Bendtner previously enjoyed a successful season-long loan spell with Birmingham City in 2006/07, where he scored a winning goal on his debut, going on to rack up 13 goals in 48 games for the Blues.

Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Nicklas the best of luck for his time with Steve Bruce’s side.

I'm relieved that this is only a loan deal. Maybe when the season is over we can take him back and get rid of Chamakh.

Could be the making or breaking of him, if the latter we'll struggle to off load him like Squid

Wouldn't surprise me if Bendy sees this as his chance to put himself in the shop window. If he has a good season, scores 15 goals he'll get clubs really interested in him. That was his problem last season, he couldn't showcase his ability enough for clubs to fork out money for him.

The ball is in his court. Time to put up or shut up.

He'll do well there. Very telling that for all the supposed interest we couldn't sell him, nor any of the dross earning 3 times what they'd get elsewhere. Damning evidence. We are probably still paying a large portion of his wages as with Denilson.

The title of this thread needs to be changed, the 'clubs interested in' bit should be deleted. :hiding:

I think this loan move would be good for him if they play him through the middle of course and i really hope he proves to doubters how effective he can be in that position.
