If it had been, he wouldn't be getting paid.

He shouldnt get paid for that utter disgrace of a performance!
He threw one punch and only last the 3 rounds becuase david let him... haye could have ended the fight in the first 20 seconds if he wanted to.

All I can say is... the real fight of the night started at 4am! Thank f**k I ended the night with the Pacqcuaio fight rather than that three round joke!

As i posted earlier in the week GG, people have bought into Harrison selling the fight by talking about his "big punch" and his "destiny".

I looked at the way some of the media were describing Harrison and i didn't recognise the fighter they were talking about.
and i can remember Audley boxing as an amateur at Northolt!

Fraudley has brought shame onto NW London

He got paid £3 million to stand there and throw 1 punch

Reminds me of the film the Great White Hype

That was the most disturbing part of the night for me.
Harrison was sitting there in his dressing room saying things like "i had just got my jab going and was armiong into the fight" really????

On a side note:
Whilst the main event was a non event, it was an excellent scrap between George Groves and Kenny Anderson.

I agree.

As for Groves, he can count himself lucky it wasn't DeGale he was facing last night. He'd've been annihilated.
But he did show guts to get through that bad period to stop the other fella.
He'll learn alot from that fight.

I didn't believe it for a second, although i did want to, it was nagging at me, but i couldn't forget the fact that he has been a continual source of disappointment.

He has everything you could want from a heavyweight boxer attribute wise, light on his feet, great reach, unorthodox stance, huge size, great defence and a left hand that will take out anyone.

He didn't deserve this fight, he has been a salesman for the last month and i hope he retires without his dignity.

He won't though, he will probably, somehow get a chance for another shot.

Brilliant come back though. Groves was f***ked. I thought he'd had it and was dissapointed cos I like the lad. He'll take a lot from the fight though. A lot of boxers would of lost there and took it as a lesson. He's managed to keep his record as well as the lesson.

There is talk of Harrisson getting his 1million purse taken off him becuase his didn't seem to be trying!
I hope he does becuase that was an utter disgrace... He deserves nothing from that fight.

I'd gladly take a 30 second beating from Haye for £3m.

The likes of Harrison wont retire as long as there are TV companies willing to pay him big bucks and people willing to go PPV to watch that sort of rubbish

After showing no attacking intent on Saturday night, Audley Harrison is set to sign for Manchester City.
