Bendtnermania!!

Wenger kept faith with his striker in Champions League against Porto and the Dane repaid him with his first ever hat-trick. He then notched in injury time against Wigan to keep Arsenal's title bid on course.
What a fantastic piece of man-management by the Frenchman, what a brilliant response from the Dane, that's what wins titles and trophies.

I think you mean Hull...??

Getting a bit carried away aren't we? AW gets a decision right and all of a sudden we're going to win the double.

I'll admit i'm not Bendtners biggest fan but i've never booed him, just supported him as best as possible. I do think he is a little underated actually and does a lot to our game off the ball. It is a shame though that as soon as he scores a couple of goals, he's all of a sudden a world beater. He's not! He's not in the same class as Drogba, Rooney and the Messi's of this world but he's only 22 and has a long time in football so will (or should at least) get better. But in my opinion, he'll never be world class.

His goal at the weekend takes his tally to seven goals and four assists in his last nine games.

If that's not the mark of a good striker then I don't know what is.

I was looking around at his stats the other day but didn't see that one, quite incredible really :dizzy:

Even if you take away his hat-trick at Porto, thats still 4 goals and 4 assists in 8 games.

Its no coincidence he is banging them in now he has moved up front.

ESPN has a pretty accurate breakdown of where the goals and assists came from if you're interested (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/players/ga ... 47&cc=5739). For those of you who were slating Wenger for keeping faith in his team during January, you'd be hard-pressed to find a striker with better statistics than that.

After the Wolves game the fans were walking down the road still singing that song long after the game had finished.
Never seen them do that before.

Speaking of assists he had two against Barca. Passed to Theo for his goal and cushioned the header for Cesc. I just wish Puyol hadn't been there because Cesc would've scored from open play rather than a pen and his leg would still be in one piece.

I've always been one of those who has loved Nick, had to give the lad a chance and I think he's proving some critics wrong.

The Emirates Saturday, when he scored, quality!!

Even better.

Seven goals and five assists in his last nine games.

The sort of numbers Messi would be proud of.

Have to say... we could do with him back asap and playing in the place of Chamakh against teams like West Brom.

Not sure he is in a hurry to come back. He is shagging that Danish Countess and probably hobknobbing with a lot of royalty.
