Bendtner to go under the knife

According to this site which is pretty accurate about injuries:

A Minimal Repair technique has been pioneered by Dr Ulrike Muschaweck, at the Hernia Center Munich. This sparing technique doesn't use a surgical 'mesh' to repair the hernia and only the affected tissues are repaired. This means that the person can resume strenuous exercise after just two days, making it the ideal repair for athletes.

AND

Premiership footballers typically return to action after 7 to 10 days following surgery with Dr Ulrike Muschaweck at the Hernia Center Munich.

Now can someone tell me why the f*ck it's gonna be about 4-5 weeks before we have him back in our team???

Surely if he flew to Munich for the operation; he should be fit by now!

I dunno... I just don't get how our players always take longer to get back. I heard that he's actually in full training at the moment but isn't "match fit". I'd rather play him than Eduardo up front v Stoke to be honest. Can you imagine Eduardo v the likes of Shawcross?

Apparently he's out until the new year now.

What an absolute farce our physio's and doctors are.

In the AW interview he said Bendtner is 2-3 weeks away.

In one of the papers it mentions he's injured until the new year.

On physioroom's website; it says 27th December ETA.

Bendtner suffers setback

Postby Trina » Thu Dec 10, 2009 7:14 pm

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has suffered a setback in his return from injury and is now not due to be fit until the New Year.

The Denmark international underwent minor surgery on 10th November after picking up a groin problem in the 3-0 victory over Tottenham.

It was thought he might be out of action for around four weeks and was close to a return.

But Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed the player is now out until the New Year.

Wenger told the club's official website: "Let's say the New Year.
Quite disappointing

"It is quite disappointing because he looked quite sharp and he was short from coming back into the squad."

Meanwhile, the Gunners will be without Emmanuel Eboue for Sunday's clash at Liverpool, which is being shown on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports HD1 at 4pm.

Eboue is out after picking up a hamstring problem in the recent 2-0 victory against Stoke, as is Tomas Rosicky.

But Wenger confirmed that William Gallas, Armand Traore, Cesc Fabregas and Andrey Arshavin are expected to recover in time, despite picking up knocks and bruises last weekend.

Problems

He added: "We have problems with many players. If you look at the players who started the game against Stoke certainly Eboue and Rosicky will miss this game. Everybody else should make it.

"There are little knocks and bruises here and there. Who could come back? Eduardo and (Abou) Diaby maybe could make the squad. That is the news we have at the moment.

"Gallas, Traore are still doubts but I think they will make it. Fabregas has a back problem and Arshavin has got a bruised foot too but I think they will make it too."

This is beyond a joke. First you-know-who was out with a groin injury last year for a month or more (against Tottenham too) and now Bendy is too.

You know who was too busy wanking and aggrevating the injury.

Bendy is either too busy boshing his princess or our physio's and doc's are completely incompetant.

3 more weeks apparently before his comeback. It's worrying that someone so young could be injured for so long!

Actually. It's more like what the f*ck is wrong with our medical staff?? lol

Correct, the last report was 2 weeks if there are no more set-backs...

And knowing how our training room works that means March.
This space used to be more fun...
