In complete contrast to Diaby, what a game from Vito.

Bye bye Aluminum?

He's done well since he came in, He already seems to have made more saves than Almunia did in all his games. Hopefully he can continue and make the position his own, but bigger test are ahead for him. Hopefully he succeeds

Age teaches a keeper a lot of things where to stand when to come but it doesnt teach reflex saves and mannone pulled a few out tonight.

But hes still too young to be your no1 his age will some where result in mistakes but as i say the saves he has just proved he can make are the difference between a good keep and a great keeper.

Agree 100% with Fordy.

Mannone was top draw tonight. This will do wonders for his confidence... can he carry it on?

His reflexes are a lot better than that Spanish waiters.

Fordy has been far too sensible lately. The problem with young keepers is they will have a fantastic game then go out and have a complete mare. Vito was absolutely fantastic but he's probably too young and inexperienced to throw into high pressure high profile games on a regular basis.

People just dont want to admit the truth and call me anti arsenal or a wum instead of just admitting i speak the truth.

Aluminum? What are you, American?!

Great game from Vito. Obviously too young to be first choice but what a talent he is

To think he is only 21, means there is a lot of room for improvement

Lets hope he can be consistent and handle the pressure in big games

As i think we all agree with a few year of teaching on when to come for the ball and stuff like that he could be class.

The simple fact is you can not teach some of the saves he made you have it or you dont.

Please though lets not get ahead of ourselves Manniger had some cracking games but he wasn't good enough. People wasn't sure about him before this game. I reckon Almunia has been drop because thats some chest infection his got going on
