He's a second striker playing as a target man - thats why he's not been on top form! Same for Bendtner, playing on the wing. Swap them two round and both would be brilliant. Still, Wenger knows?!

It wouldn't suprise me as he is definately playing with less flair than before. He is still a fantastic player as you say, i would just love to see full steam ahead RVP again.

Afraid not, it was on the TV station itself but maybe someone else on the forum has it . He kept saying he loved Arsenal and would love to win a major trophy with the club so its not lack of motivation, it could be he is trying to adapt to our new 4-4-3 formation, anyways I like him and he is one of our best players :arse fan:

If that was what he said then Rev's bang on the money... again.

But I also think he's being asked to play centrally where there just isn't the time and space to create the kind of opportunities he's used to fashioning from out wide. Between 05-08 he was used either out wide or as a 2nd striker.
Still, I reckon he'll start blasting the goals in before long.

Form is temporary. Class is permanent.

Well he clattered Fletcher in the Scotland game (good man, Robin) so he's not scared to get stuck in

What?? What did they use as a timer? A casio??

I can't remember him outpacing a defender.

The PL must have the fastest central defenders in the world.

Van Persie was? are you serious? Not doubting your info Liam but there's no way van Persie was the fastest player at the last European Championships.

People seem to have a habit of calling our players slow. Cesc for example. They're not... they just don't need to use their pace in their respective roles most of the time.

RVP is NOT slow
