I'll be honest... I'm not the biggest fan of Bendy, not by a long shot. He infuriated me more times than I care to remember last season and I don't think he has that much natural ability.

BUT, he's looking much more promising these days, and about time too - Arsene sure did persist. Hopefully he'll go from strength to strength this season and bang in 20+ goals in all comps.

I don't think he'll ever be 'world class' though.

I think that.........he could have potential, although we cant have him as potential. We need him as like a main player if we want to win the league. Its not as if Utd bring on Wellbeck and stuff. We definately need a good striker on the bench, cos when we are losing we bring on Bendtner and then expect him to score. Like he needs to come on when its 3-0 and he has time to cock things up a bit. To play him from the start or when we need a goal piles the pressure on him which probally doenst help the situation.

Im super undecided on him

I'd like to see him get a chance up top,I don't think he is suited to wide roles at all.Last season he had issues with his work rate, maybe it was rubbing off from Ade but so far he seems to have cut that out of his game. One things for sure though,if he is to lead the line he'll have to break his balls closing defenders down. He's got all the right attributes to do a job up top, height, strength and power

Is he ready to do that ,we'll wait and see.

I agree, although I have to say I'm pretty bored of talking about him now.
We had this debate long ago and the thread is pretty old.

This season is an important one for him because of Ade's departure. He needs to show how much he's improved, but he can't do that playing on the right side of a 4-3-3 imo.

If I was Le Boss I'd play the front three in a different order with Bendy in the middle, RVP on the left and Arshavin on the right.

By the way, does anyone know why he's wearing number 52 this season??
