Semenyo, doku, much quicker and scary than Saka these days. Saka cannot even beat any LB in the top 6 of PL.

He beat Kerkez literally a few days ago.

anybody who says Saka is "shit" is clueless on ball.
Question whether he's elite - fine.
but he has quality.

Not saying he is shit but its definitely an era of players not knowing their opponents and not knowing how to possition themselves to force wingers on to their worse sides, and a era of not watching the ball, does not matter how fast the feet are the ball goes where the ball goes.

There can be no argument that the current incarnation of Saka is a significant level below the version of 18 months ago. Even so, he still produces magic but now we see how much more effective Madueke is at beating players we are rightfully questioning Saka.

But lets not forget, for all the beating of defenders Madueke has, his output still doesn't come close to a sub standard Saka.

18 to 24 months period:

Odegaard regreses
Saka regreses
Martinelli regreses

Saka hasn't been as dazzling but then he's still getting assists and goals and he does keep defenders honest.
lots of hyperbole.
makes sense to give our youth product and best/most marketable player a big contract.
