You just feel we must win something this year

Otherwise 1 FA Cup in 5 years

No manager has spent more than Arteta since his arrival

Shocking return

Where are the people that kept claiming that we had 2 good seasons that means this season would be the one or that we'd only grow from there?

Im not having any of that.

There is no way you would think that our previous 2 seasons would lead to this pot of piss poor poo we are being served !

Actually there was.
As many said the continued over use of Saka,
The relevance of Ode form and lack of anything else if that form or player was not there.
The left hand side was always an issue even the last two seasons.
And lord knows where you been I for one have said every season once the wide goals dry up where are we getting them we ain't never had a good enough striker.

Still remain competitive on all four fronts. All w/ possibilities.
Seems like a long slog through mud all season, w/ all others in indifferent form. ManCity, Chelsea already reigned in, only Pool left, but beginning to show cracks in the armour!

ya know... I went to say something like this . but you've done so already//./.

which is not to WHINE , well, not exactly..//.
4
but ...damn... its been a slog.

and all the red cards early in the season? and again... not EXCATLY to WHINE. but ffs, is there a precedent for a team getting red carded like that? if nothing else ... a evil omen.

But thats just a weird complaint VCC. On consecutive seasons we beat our goal scoring records, why would you be worried that our wide goals would dry up when there was no indication whatsoever that it would happen???

You can't legislate for crazy/stupidity (Arteta's decisions) but surely all things being equal, the upward trend we were on, it wasn't logical to expect us to take such a big backwards step this season. Yes we could worry about Saka, Ode and Rice being overplayed and they were, that was called out by lots of us but none of them had previously shown any kind of injury worries.

I agree, we were literally really up against Man City, the calls for us to win now or never were loud and clear and fair, we would not have a better chance with Liverpool being hot and cold and Chelsea and Man U going through transitions.

I don't agree that we expected us to go downhill though, not like what we are seeing this season.

Well you are both wrong because as previously stated, Arteta himself acknowledged last season the squad was light so if thats the case he should've strengthened but he did a half-arsed job ! Its his responsibility, nobody else's. You don't go into battle unprepared then blame everyone else! You had plenty of time to get yourself ready.

HH in my experience at sport you don't need any indication, if you are not finding ways to improve and get better results you can rest assure the chasing bunch are working on exactly that. And that would mean working on ways to stop our attack, I tend to think the whole league has done a decent job of that,
