He has self-confidence and, no matter the situation, refuses to play the obvious ball and pass backwards or sideways. It may sound risky, but the ball often ends up in the back of the net as a result.
Demanding that Xhaka plays a ball through the middle for a change? Would love to see it. He's never been good at it, and it's getting harder and harder with the press... someone else needs to be there!

It will be hard but as long as he doesn't just stand around waiting for the pass as Odegaard often does. If he's able to drop deep if it's looking flat and play a great ball forward that will be something.
Have high hopes he'll add to our creative spark. Last season we were way too reliant on the creative output of Ødegaard and Saka. When they had an off day, it would end up costing us more often than not.
If he plays regularly, Xhakh won't play much. Partey / Elleny will play at the base. We'll be keeping the ball upfield more thereby releasing pressure from defense.
