Midfield only looked better when Xhaka came back into CM as expected.

Bissouma is three times the player Lokonga is, Lokonga is simply not ready to help us win games, massive step down from Partey.

We absolutely bossed possession in midfield.
That’s a fact..
Lakonga was better than him today.

We dominated the midfield.
I think we had more control of possession than any other game this season.
Some good bursts forward too and unlucky not to score.
Looked better than Bissouma.

We lost and we’re 2-0 down, can’t have been that much in control. Brighton was also very comfortable until the last few minutes.

This is just like when you told us we were the better side against Liverpool when they beat us 2-0. We weren’t, Liverpool we’re always in control.

We were.
Nearly 70% possession
We just got unlucky.
Terrible VAR decision and couple of missed chances.
Brighton finished brilliantly in a couple of chances. Didn’t do much else.
Certainly not in midfield - that was all us.

Off course, he is not better than Partey. Obviously.
But, I think Odegaard, Saka and Smith Rowe were worse than him tonight. Lokonga's main job is to supply the ball to players in front of him and he did it decently. I don't think we can blame him when it was the forwards that could not do much things with the ball given to them.

He’s not better than Partey yet, but looks to have more to his game.
Quite excited to see his development over the next couple of years.

Let’s be honest, the reason his thread pops up when we lose is because the toxic fans I was talking about that we could do without are invested in Arteta’s signings being worse than Carlton Palmer on a bad day.

I'm not disagreeing with that.

Most of the team were a disaster today, terrible performance almost to a man.

This is what would have happened to Saliba if he wasn't loaned out imo. Send Sambi to Ligue 1 for a season and see what it does for him. He's clearly not ready to deputise for Partey right now.

He's not very good and hasn't been all season. A work very much in progress

Whilst over in Marseille we have a midfielder on loan that we are crying out for

General consensus is that he wasn’t very good in this game it seems.

I wonder what we'd be saying if they switched teams. Put Sambi in the Marseille team and Guen in this Arsenal team? Genuinely question.

The key issue with him is this and I can't believe it hasn't been raised yet:

Does he have any nieces or nephews?

And if he does, do they call him Uncle Albert?

I said before, Guendouzi in his first season with us was better than Lokonga had been for us this season.

There is no reason Guendouzi shouldn't be with us helping the team. The manager has sabotaged the season.

Apart from that he doesn't want to play for us

Thats a pretty big reason

Just go and get 2 of the list below in the summer then sell xhaka and replace him with a top cm, that would give us 2 of the below, Partey and another top midfielder going in to next season, needs to be done if we are wanting to progress.

Ruben Neves
Bissouma
Douglas Luiz
Kouyate
Tielemans
Ward prowse
