It was a decent goal, but we were allowed to score it due to Southampton’s poor closing down of the press.
Home record
Played 8, won 6 drawn 1 lost 1 - one of the very best in the league. Only City are better (on goal difference). Most teams in the league and their fans will know that when they come to the Emirates they are underdogs.
It was not just a decent goal, it was a world class goal.
This is where I shut down Jay's argument. Jay, a bit of context, now strictly speaking you are technically correct but as usual the devil is in the detail with you. Lets look at who we have played at home and how we performed:
Chelsea - Lost
Norwich - Won
Spurs - Won
C Palace - Won
A Villa - Won
Watford - Won
Newcastle - Won
Southampton - Won.
The only decent team we beat at home was Spurs, the rest of them are home wins every single day of the week for a competent Arsenal team.
