Genuinely, I don't know.
I think so, yes, but it is easy to say.

My biggest issue is the way the trial was corrupted and the jury effectively tampered with.

However having seen what happened, why it happened and then seen the evidence presented, my personal view is that there was no crime - just horrible police procedure.

He's definitely guilty.

Of what depends on what the states laws are regarding a death i.e 1st degree, 2nd degree etc or manslaughter.

For me ............

Imo I think he's guilty of 2nd degree murder or manslaughter.

However he's also guilty of failiure of due care for a person in his custody.

Actually looking at it, the fact that Floyd protested his situation for minutes, this is 2nd degree murder.

Manslaughter is accidental .............. this was more than accidental, he deliberately ignored protests not just from the victim, but all of the members of the public, didn't even check on the guy and left his knee in his neck for 9 minutes even after he'd passed out and died, the cynical nature in which he did that makes it 2nd degree for me.

That's not only manslaughter.

BLM are at it in America.

............. did you expect any different?

They are professional protesters who make a lot of money out of race hustling.

BLM founder just bought a 1.5 million dollar house in a white neighbourhood, you couldn't make it up, to brazen to even attempt to hide it, sickening.

I read about the 16 year old being shot earlier in the day. Didn't think much of it cos she was attacking someone else with a knife and police did the right thing

Didn't even think of racism.

Yeah she was attacking one girl and then turned on another girl who was just standing there holding a dog and had brought the knife up to stab her as the police officer shot.

Not sure how you can fault the officer, he was on the scene less than 20 seconds and all hell broke loose.

From his perspective he sees a bystander about to be stabbed and shoots the attacker.

Unfortunately is does not stop people like Ben Crump lying and trying to make something more AND associate it the George Floyd death. Blantant lie by the idiot Crump saying the girl was unarmed. Still has not corrected his vile attack on the police.

Benjamin Lloyd Crump is an American civil rights attorney and founder of the Tallahassee, Florida-based law firm Ben Crump Law. He is known for his association with the 2012/2013 George Zimmerman case, and for representing the family of Michael Brown, an 18-year-old African-American man shot and killed by police in Ferguson, Missouri.

Classic race baiting.

Crump is a race hustling c*nt looking for another law suit.

This is just a business to him.

I mean, be a lawyer sure, but stop inflamming situations where you know perfectly well this girl was wrong, literally trying to kill a girl in front of the cops.

The other thing is when the attacker knocked the first girl to the ground a grown man started kicking the downed girl.

I can only assume that was the knife wielding girl's family member, so why didn't they help de-escalate the situation before it got to that point?

He doesn't care - like you say, this is big money for him.
It's just so bad he's allowed to lie like that and get away with it.

...and just like that the race baiting over this latest shooting is coming from the very top - the White House.

The White House Wednesday condemned “police violence” after police shot and killed teenage girl Ma’Khia Bryant in Columbus, Ohio, after she appeared to attack another person with a knife.

“The killing of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant by the Columbus police is tragic,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in a prepared statement during the White House press briefing. “She was a child.”

Psaki pointed to the racial disparities surrounding “police violence” as part of the White House reaction to the shooting.

“We know that police violence disproportionally impacts Black and Latino people and communities and that black women and girls, like black men and boys, experience higher rates of police violence,” she said.

The Columbus Division of Police released a body camera video Tuesday showing Bryant having a knife as she was fighting with another girl when the police fired their shots.

Psaki also noted Bryant was a foster care child and noted the “particular vulnerabilities” foster children face.

“Her death came, as you noted, just as America was hopeful of a step forward after the traumatic and exhausting trial of Derek Chauvin, and the verdict was reached,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, a 16yr old white male was shot and killed by police last week - he had an air gun. Pointed it and was shot by an officer and injured only, not fatally. When on the ground injured he pulled out a knife. Officer shot him multiple times and killed him.
Heard of him? No, I thought not.

White House mentioned his name? No, of course not.

Maxine Waters commented on it? Erm, no.

They also fail to mention the background to a lot of these police shootings.

Like poor little Daunte Wright who was accidentally shot last week. Lovely boy by all accounts. George Floyd's wife said last night that she knew him and what a great lad he was.

The reason he was stopped by police was that his car registration was flagged as his being wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court. He was on $100,000 bail. The charge? He had throttled a woman, hit her and threatened her with a gun whilst robbing her of the $800 she had in her possession.

Lovely boy though.

Like George Floyd too... they actually had what amounted to a state funeral for that scum bag.

23 August is when the other crooked cops go under trial. They could've stopped the murder. They need to rot.

This is why America is going to the dogs politically.

This type of stuff will be with us forever more, the genie has been let out the lamp.

Race hustling is big business, big votes canvassing, big media click bait.

The obvious thing is while they're busy slamming a police officer for votes and PC press points, they're forgetting he saved the life of the other girl.
No points for guessing the headlines if he had stood and let her get stabbed.

"Police don't care about black community, just stood and let a girl be killed".

Yep, can't win and their not supposed to, what they are, are sacrificial lambs so others can get over, disgusting.

The Ohio Mayor was at it as well, pretending to be upset while throwing the officer under the bus, worst acting I've ever seen.

Also how the hell do they expect the officer to know she was a "child"?

As I said he rolled up and this all happened in less than 20 seconds of his arrival.

He sees one girl turn on another with a knife and acts to save her.
