Good question and that is a major problem.
I don't believe he can get a fair trial anywhere in the world and on that basis the charges should be dropped and he should walk.
That is the only form of justice that can now be salvaged.

Not sure where you got that from.
A fair trial would be one where the jurors don't feel threatened to make a decision one way, or don't have the fate of an entire city/cities - with a mob waiting to burn it down) on their shoulders on one case. It is totally ridiculous that the media and politicians put the kind of pressure on the jury they did.
There can be no fair trial for Chauvin now.
The just thing to do when a person can not be fairly tried is to drop the case.
It might leave a bitter taste, but if this guy wins his appeal don't blame ANYONE else but the media and the likes of Maxine Waters.
