It would of been more for Villa if he played. Arteta has issues creating an attack to function. A douche like Ozil faced with these problems would of made things worse because he's literally a championship level player. That Eze guy from Palace is a much, much better player than Ozil is now, while not anything special yet, he was class for QPR last season and shows what we could do with an attacking manager and proper creative in the center. Ozil is so f***ing terrible now he cannot play to even this level. Physically he's completely gone.

We be better of with old fatman Wayne Rooney, at least he tires to run and can put a tackle in. We all know when Ozil is faced with adversity in a game like that he wusses out and disappears.

I think this may all well end in a new manager, new formation but us building around a young, new gen playmaker for the next 3-5 years which is the ultimate solution.

Ozil will go down as one of the worst signings we have made especially since it was a striker we needed at the time. A symbol of our foolishness in the last decade and why we are shit, in this position right now. 3 FA Cups is not exactly what we had in mind for buying a player if his stature. This was his moment, his era to leave a legacy and he failed long ago so badly for us he's nowhere and unwanted while we suck, surrounded by comforting yes men who don't show him the truth.

He's happy to sit there and see us fail for the last 2 years or so, offering a pitiful 1 goal and 3 assists since March 2019. Rather than do the honorable things, leave, clear our wagebill and get a fresh, new, you, full of energy, top quality creative mid to bring us to the level a big clubs should be.

Such a sad ending. We are literally talking about Mesut Ozil as an ex Arsenal player. I think the best thing for everyone now is to offer Ozil is for a club to buy him in January and pay off the rest of his contract as a signing on bonus, give us a fee so he can adjust to whatever new club he goes to. We need to focus on buying another attacking mid if we can't find solutions in the team right now.

Nah.
We clearly need Ozil - most obvious in this game but it's been pretty obvious all season.

Paging Mesut Ozil... Mesut Ozil.
Please report to the first team and accept our apologies.
Pretty please.
