It's not even like he parries long range shots, then I'd say it's a problem. These are shots from barely any distance and he's produced great saves.

The Liverpool one still makes me laugh to this day how anyone can blame him. Great save.

But but mr one month is better.

Basic error at the weekend and feel he’s started the season slowly.

Agree with PNG about Ceballos, Xhaka and Luiz best no the root cause which lead to the Leno error, but that’s on the manager and he insists on playing Xhaka and Luiz week in week out despite their obvious flaws and mistakes.

This blind spot for substandard players worries me, that’s something Wenger also had.

Yep. Hoping it's not a decision we regret.

Regarding the team selection thing....it will eventually start to grate if Aretat keeps on getting the wrong combinations. The Aubameyang thing is a bit of a worry. With Xhaka, over the last few games he's been subbed or left on the bench so hopefully that means Partey will take his place soon.

Manninger better than Seaman would be doing the rounds.

You can either embrace new tech and modernise or you can live in the past and hanker to days of old.

Actually I am being a bit toungue in cheek, I refuse to modernise in so many ways, new tech/modernisation sucks in a few areas of life.

Martinez is like that injured player you pine for when they are out, as they would have been the one who would have saved us from losing.

This has been done to death we needed money for the Partey and he was unexpected financial asset we cashed in on.

Seems like it. I remember last year when Bellerin was out injured I heard claims that he'd be key to our success. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

King of getting better whilst being injured is undoubtedly Santi Cazorla.

IMO Martizez was and is a better keeper than Leno.

Hoewvwr we will see as the season evolves give that they both are now getting first team starts.

Agreed they play behind different defences but I'd question whether villas is now worse than ours.

I wish Martinez well but hope Leno imporves. He was to blame for the city goal parrying it out into danger.

Just in case it wasn't clear what was meant when people say "Emi commands the box well".

I feel like Leno doesn't communicate well with the defenders. Emi's ability to do that made us defend better as a unit. The whole scene today was incredibly similar to how we were playing before lockdown.
