Of course they don't. It's all a pissing contest and it'll end with both losing, in summer 2021.

I don’t rate Ozil anymore but very weird handling by the club. You can’t ostracize a well known player without any communication.. otherwise this happens.

"Loyalty is hard to come by" says man who has been one of the worst performing, yet best paid mids in the entire PL since 2018.

Honestly pathetic that he's trying to drum up sympathy on social media now when the writing has been on the wall for months. At least Winston Bogarde was honest:

"He was astounded at the salary the club had agreed on.....[he] decided to stay and honour his contract to the letter and appear for training every day, despite being only rarely selected to play.[13] Of his contract he said, "Why should I throw fifteen million Euro away when it is already mine? At the moment I signed it was in fact my money, my contract""

He knows he isn't wanted here, and if he really cared about playing football then he would have sought a move this summer. Instead he'd rather stay in London, earn his money, and play the victim, all whilst undermining the club publicly wherever possible.

It's all a PR exercise from Ozil now, and has nothing to do with loyalty.

True but the club opened themselves up to it. Little to no communication creates assumptions such as being dropped due to the comments on China.

If he is fit to play then I would start him tomorrow night and see how he plays.
If he is effing useless then take him off at half time and have nothing more to do with him.
On the other hand, if he is creative then give him 70 minutes.

Congratulations, you are the exact type these sad PR tweets are targeting.

Ozil's comments were made in late 2019, and yet Arteta started him 10 games in a row in 2020.

The club is facing a massive financial reckoning that got worse thanks to Covid. That's about as far as the China logic goes.

Ozil could come out as a diehard MAGA, Qanon fanatic who blames China for 'the virus'. But something tells me if he managed more than just 1 Goal, 2 assists last season before being axed from the team he would not be in this position.

The wage refusal was the final straw, the crap performances made up much of the hay on the camels back.

If he had at least 4 goals and 5 assists theres no way we would have dropped him, even if he got a MAGA, TRUMP/PENCE2020 tattoo on his forehead.

Nobody is mentioning just how poor he was all last season. The peak Ozil we all have in rose tinted memories is long gone. Remember we have struggled to buy a high quality replacement attacking mid because we have so many other issues to improve the squad and his wages are so high we can't afford that type of player with the socialist wage structure we are still stuck in.

He knew this was coming but decided to stay and not play at all. How is this is helping his playing career exactly???

He played 13 games after he made his comments about the situation in China. I don't buy it.

Just when you think this club can’t be more classless, they prove you wrong. Honestly Arsenals downfall is due to karma. The club is truly disgusting
