This guy simply does not hold enough shots, the goal should have been held simple as that, it was a very kind height to save and you should never parry into the danger zone,
I would rather a keeper spill a shot in front of him with a chance to get behind the spill, than to parry into a danger zone with a target as wide as a truck to place the ball

As o said before, very good shotstoper but the rest of his game leaves a lot to be desired.

Not sure who taught him to parry the ball out in front of him when making a save.
Cost us today, not for the first time.

He spilled another one in close range. But the angle was tight so nothing happened.

The parry was terrible though, he parried it straight towards the middle of goal m, if you have to parry you need to force it out much wider.

Poor IMO.

From a shot that close, I think stopping the shot was the main thing which he did. Doesn't have time to adjust hands to parry it away. People are reaching here to find fault when there is none

Even non Arsenal fans with no personal bias could tell us that, with EMI in goal we would have come away with 1 point against pool and 1 point against city easy.

You just call it how it is, it was a poor parry, he’s a decent keeper but that wasn’t a good save.

I think this season he probably been 6 out of 10 so far, he’s done ok but has made a few errors so far.

Awful goal keeper not good enough for this level.
Keepers, unfairly or not, are judged on the amount of errors they make.
Leno can make some brilliant saves, but he makes far too many errors, is not good on crosses and has poor distribution.
Yesterday was another good example of what he brings, great save when we were 1-0 down, but we were 1-0 in the first place in part because of his awful parry back out in front of him - a complete no no for a goalkeeper to do.

Not even close to being as good as Emi.

Love how a good month in a decade makes a player better than our second best player.

One thing I'm happy with about Leno is we haven't missed Martinez at all this season.
