Yup, a clear message to the players that they have to be better.

I expect most mid table teams to adopt similar formula as WH to deal w/ Arsenal.
Man to man w/ no space to maneuver, especially the front three will be well marked.
We need faster and better CMs to tackle this impasse. Ceb and Xhaka aren't the answer.

You lot need some bloody perspective.

Man Utd lost 1-3 to Crystal Palace.

We're not going to play like Real every game, it just won't happen but as long as we win, be grateful, Arteta will deal with any lacks attitude.

Lets not forget our results before Arteta came, this would of been a Roman triumph back then.

Trust the process. It'll take time.

We were rubbish, zero creativity, embarrassing in the second half. It must be fixed as a priority.

Wasn't great on chances created but as I said in the match day, if we had scored in the 75th instead of 85th that would of gone down as an ok performance, its cause we left it felt like a smash and grab.

We do need to work on our wide men creating more solid chances, the amount that were blocked or fluffed was what was killing us.

Arsenal have never played with proper wide men since I have watched from the 70s
I blame the highbury pitch it was so narrow Arsenal played consistently narrow. Seriously the player that probably bombed the widest since I have watched Arsenal was Viv Anderson.
None of our wide players ever have chalk on their boots unless they take a throw in

None of this sissy coddling crap. Obvi doesn't have to go OTT and humiliate players the way other managers have, but let them publicly know that uninspiring performances are unacceptable.

Yeah. Lets not forget the results with arteta also? We finished 8 last season and we had ALOT of games like this.

As long as we win, be grateful. Doesnt work with me buddy because as soon as we play like this and face decent opposition, we lose.

Our midfield is a major concern and we had all f***ing summer to adress it. We need changes and we need them now

Too many changes made and especially down that left side where all the players looked so well drilled on defence, ball progression and attack. The way we conceded down that left side was no coincidence either.

Yesterday's performance was, quite frankly, awful. If Wenger or Emery oversaw that performance, fans would be on their case. Rightly so in my opinion.

Arteta has goodwill in his bank. He won the FA Cup and the Charity Shield, and we have been doing well against tougher oppositions.

No matter how poor we've looked for a while now, Arteta is getting the results. If those results cease to come, fans won't tolerate this lethargic style of play any longer.

Arteta has brought that grit, that hunger back. It didn't seem so yesterday, but in general, we look hungrier and more passionate with him in charge.

You do have a point. We have a plodding style of play. The first half against Fulham was a mid-table borefest. Yesterday, it seemed like we were playing a EL game and West Ham were pushing for a Prem game.

While the results have been positive, I really don't like the way we play these days. That's also because we lack creativity and technical players. We've had so many of such players in the last decade who were absolutely unreal: Rosicky, prime Ozil, Cesc, Cazorla, Arshavin, Nasri, van Persie, and even Alexis. Someone like Wilshere was pleasing to watch too.

Today, how many of those do we have? Nada. Zilch.

That's why we need Aouar more than ever. One player won't solve our woes, but we're better off with him than without him.

Our midfield defensively and offensively needs so much work. Both Auoar and a DM needed.

West ham beat chelsea home and away last season
They also beat man utd at home and drew away

He was overjoyed at the end last night. Nobody could have been happier. He was still smiling ten minutes later when he did his TV interview.

We will face plenty of games like this. No matter how many top midfielders you've, teams playing massed defence and man to man will always cause problems.

Problem is more our lack of creativity and inability to control games from midfield, teams are getting a lot of the play against us.
