Yep.

Plus, he's had these games where he looks like a world beater before the vanishing act begins. :hiding:

I think Ceb will improve too. So we'll have two decent creators. Not bad at all.

Clear to see why Arteta wanted him. Looks like a very shrewd signing for this season at least.

That's his best trait. He works really hard and can run up and down all day.

His experience will be invaluable. Good mentor for younger midfielders.

Clearly takes care of himself physically. Doesn't look off the pace at all.

I think this kind of thing often happens, new player comes in has a blinder or a few good games and then it peters out a bit, good start but needs to maintain it over the season.

Ultimately I think it's great that we can always start Willian or Pepe and have the other one to call on from the bench if we need them. Too often last season we needed to make changes and had little attacking talent to call upon.

some people saying he had a fantastic game and may do a vanishing act but I don't think he had a fantastic game where he was beating players and breaking lines, it wasn't that kind of game yesterday there was very little room or space to play. Willian will have better games than yesterday and I think the kind of things he brought to the game yesterday will be what we see regularly, high passing accuracy, winning free kicks, making himself available in the final 3rd, being direct, working hard and doing the work off the ball as well. I think what people mean when they say he is invisible for a few games are like when he puts in a performance like yesterday, they are expecting him to be beating players every game and running riot, he will have those games but even on an average day like yesterday what he offers is far more than what most of our players offer on a good day.
