Why do big clubs fall for the hype that is the Ox? He’s 26 and hasn’t done one damn thing as yet.

Arsenal are considering a swap deal with Atletico Madrid that would see 28-year-old French striker Alexandre Lacazette moving to Spain, and compatriot Thomas Lemar, 24, coming the other way. (AS - in Spanish)

Probably, just like all the other rumoured transfers for any kind of money at all, the club has already told the fans not to expect big transfers.

We’ll sign some nobodies, ageing free transfers and kids at best and even that may rely on getting rid of some high earners.

I'm certain now that the club will sign Cazorla on a 1-year deal to paper over the cracks.

Cazza has played roughly the same number of minutes as Partey (1800 or so) across 24 La Liga games and has crushed him stats wise.

Partey: 2G 0A
Cazorla: 8G 6A

some of those goals are penalties, but given that it's a 24yo vs a 35yo, the latter in a weaker team, makes it clear that Partey isn't the answer.

Isn’t Partey a defensive midfielder? Why would you look at goals and assists as stats?
