It was obvious he is looking at leaving. The only chance we have of keeping him is by a miracle getting top 4 and Champions League.

Anything less we will painfully have to sell him for cut price. Even if we get Champions League, Madrid might go for him. f**k even those bastard Chavs might go heavy for him.

This is in no way whatsoever a good situation.

Not true of any player, especially one that is running his contract down in order to leave for a big pay day.
Don;t forget he's the type of person to go on strike to force a move.
Sell now or sell even more cheaply or for nothing down the line.

Yup

Best striker in the league. Anyone we get won't be as good. Keep for another year even if he goes for free. In that year, pray and hope Martinelli comes good

Nketiah is shit. No one else coming through the ranks.

Unless he is actively pushing to leave, I say keep him. He knows he can get a big payday once he's available on a free transfer.

Dries Mertens is older and was a Chelsea target until he re-upped w/ Napoli. Auba is in better shape, has a far better scoring record and shows no signs of slowing down. There will be plenty of demand for him next summer.

£30m won't get us jack shit in the market. With Auba we'll get 20 league goals minimum.

Are they actually good talents or GW rated good talents alongside legends such as Crowley, akpom, Nelson, zelazem and others? All who have been rated highly by people on here and are now off stacking shelves at my local supermarket. Apart from Nelson. Not yet anyway

Who knows whether they'll make it at the top, but they're two good talents that we have 'coming through the ranks'. You'd be hard pushed to find better forwards in the youth leagues

The decision making process around loaning / keeping / selling youth of late has been really poor. Talents like Gnabry, Reine-Adelaide and Bennacer should have never left for what they did.

As much as i like Auba, we need balance and we are overloaded going forward. Martinelli is our second highest scorer and like a , he is also an aerial threat. Cash in and rebuild with CM, DM and CBs, and a CAM

Btw Greenwood's best and only quality is that he is two footed. Zero positioning, doesn't provide an aerial threat, average pace, cannot last 90 mins, not versatile whereas Martinelli, Saka and tick most of the other factors.

Mason has got a great shot, but that's it.

Next ten games we have to do with what we've. Try to rotate the midfielders and hope Auba , Laca and Mertinelli be more hawkish in front of the goal. Meanwhile, try to stay compact in behind. Target is to get as close as the 60 pt mark as possible.
Come summer, go all out for at least a very good AM and a top DM. Of course need to hold on to two of the three strikers.

Are you talking about Mason Greenwood of United ? I'm referring to Sam Greenwood of Arsenal ...

I'm concerned that if we don't get CL we won't be making any significant signings

Meanwhile Chelsea just signed Werner and Ziyech. Would be interesting to see them play off Giroud, the way Sanchez and Ozil used to or the way Mbappe and Greizman do. Though I’m pretty sure Werner will start at CF.
