Well ‘the Good, the bad and the ugly is my all time fave. Some great films mentioned previously, but also Shane and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

To those who like morbid satire, I'd like to recommend C'est arrivé près de chez vous, also know by its English title as Man Bites Dog.

Trailer- https://www.criterionchannel.com/videos ... og-trailer

Documentary filmmakers André and Rémy have found an ideal subject in Ben. He is witty, sophisticated, intelligent, well liked--and a serial killer. As André and Rémy document Ben's routines, they become increasingly entwined in his vicious program, sacrificing their objectivity and their morality. Controversial winner of the International Critics' Prize at the 1992 Cannes Film Festival, MAN BITES DOG stunned audiences worldwide with its unflinching imagery and biting satire of media violence.

Just watched some dire film that was no.2 on Netflix. Dangerous Lies...... Just awful, don’t bother.

I tend to have a look at IMDB before watching any film.

You have to watch out for the spoilers, and it's not an ideal guide, but if you see ratings of 6 or above you're usually OK to give it a go.

Just found out Saoirse Ronan has had three Academy Award best actress nominations without winning.

She's following that DiCaprio career trajectory.

f**k yes

Thor Ragnorak was one of the all time greats. I don't usually pay much attention to directors but when you're the best around as he clearly is, people will know you

Star Wars.....a perfect example of taking a great idea and ruining it! Loved the first three and then they just got greedy and even went PC.
