He’s looking at cutting short his loan spell because he wants playing time. Another one of The Dons flops.

Can't blame the guy, every player wants to play. You go on loan to play more, not to sit on the bench just as much.

Mate, if you can’t break into this midfield...

I get it. He doesn't. He ain't going to go back to Madrid and magically become good enough for theirs either. But in fairness he hasn't really been given a chance with Arteta.

Seems like Mikel doesn't rate him.

If he doesn't play the cup game against Bourne mouth, he's gone. I wouldn't like that without getting a replacement.

He cannot go anywhere until Arsenal and RM agree on cancelling the loan deal.
He needs to work hard and compete w/ other mediocre midfielders to break in. Really sad , the quality that Emery brought in for us. First DSanchez and then Dani, he really had a Keen eye for mediocrity.

I don't have the link but Arteta was quoted as saying that at the time he was appointed manager, Ceballos was back at Real working on his recovery. He's seen him in training for 7-10 days so far and said that time hasn't been long enough to decide whether to play him.

Has only been played by Emery in a side that had downed tool,
Has been injured on not given a game by Arteta, I would have played him he would of at least given much the same as Ozil just with hopefully some more effort and desire
Who knows

Yo me he is much closer to Cazorla in his play, able to twist and turn and run with the ball, perhaps not with the range of passing. But the attributes he has should be enough to work with Ozil and Torreira, I would like to see that midfield 3 given a go.

Looked good today. Give him a run out in a 4-3-3

It's a joke that Özil plays over him.
Yes it was against tired Bournmouth defenders in a cup game but he did more than Özil in the past 3 games.

We're not changing formations, that's one thing I do agree with Arteta, you either fit the system or don't play.

The system is bigger than any one individual as it effects the jobs of the whole team.

However no reason Cebellos couldn't play the Ozil CAM role in our 4-2-3-1 and just drop deep to help the deeper CM's when not in possession, we don't need to change formation for that.
