Facts are a minor inconvenience for good trolling.

I mean since when did we ever spend as much as Utd? they have more money than us and a different owner for starters.

You right!

Dreadful times.
I prefer no signings over Raul's signings.

Also, why is the diacritic over the 'u' in Raul an umlaut instead of an acute?

Every day i grow more worried and depressed about where this club is heading which is to midtable mediocrity at best.

The stale odor continues as we continue to behave like amateurs in regards to recruitment.

The team being total shit the first half of the season should sent the alarm bells off well before January to get midfielders ready to buy or loan as soon as January 1st hits.

Its the 16th and the best we have right now is a average 3rd choice PSG Left Back because both our senior Left backs are highly injury prone.

Not lumbering yourselves with rubbsh would be a start, this is what we've been doing for years, something which has really hindered us, Mustafi, Xhaka, Sokratis, Luiz, Lichsteiner, Walcott, Kolasinac, Welbeck and the lis goes on.

It's a false economy as they turn out to be liabilities that we struggle to shift in most cases.

I think some are getting a tad melodramatic.

Mid table teams don't splash £70 mil on players like Pepe.

But until he starts to pay dividends or this team does in general ........... would you keep forking out that kind of money for players like Pepe if you were the Kroenkes?

Auba and Laca were worth the money and even Laca is stretching that until he starts scoring again.

Arteta isn't going to start getting cheques until he shows the Kroenkes that the team is in good hands and will push on to the CL with investment ........... until then I suspect even summer will be relatively low balled.

These buys aren't Arteta's calls though. Raul bought a crocked LB in the summer and now finds himself needing to buy another in the same window. Of course he's trying to go for the free option.

Same deal with Pepe. Does anybody think that was Emery's call? He dropped Mustafi and Kos forced his way out. He was probably hoping for a proper CB but got Luiz instead.

None of our signings are the Coaches calls, and haven't been since Wenger left.

When I say "Arteta won't be seeing any cheques from the Kroenkes" I'm referring to Arteta and the whole team set up being able to buy players, i.e Raul getting funds to provide Arteta with players.

.......... if what you said was referring to my comment?
