05/12/19 | Arsenal 1-2 Brighton | Premier League

We need to play 4-3-3

Pepe Auba Martinelli in front, pacey wingers that can stay on the wing.

Ozil behind them with Torreira and Guendouzi for defensive cover

Back line is simple really, Mustafi and Luiz make more mistakes than Sokratis and Holding so we play the latter 2

As for Bellerin v Chambers and Kolasinac v Tierney really honestly I don't care
Wembley:
Community Shield @6-8-'23 = 1*-1 Manchester City

Emirates Stadium:
First game @10-9-'11 = 1 - 0 Swansea
Most memorable game @24-2-'22 = 2 - 1 Wolves
Last game @09-03-'24 = 2 - 1 Brentford
Next game @03-04-'24 = VS Luton [ Block 121 - Seat 847 ]

The deep state rises.

Xhaka and Mustafi to start?

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/dec/03/freddie-ljungberg-arsenal-arsene-wenger
Freddie Ljungberg to consult Arsène Wenger before first Arsenal home game

“I would really like to speak to him,” he said of the manager who brought him to Arsenal from the Swedish side Halmstad for £3m in 1998. “I’m in contact with him but I haven’t spoken to him because it’s been a bit hectic, but it’s on my list to do so … He was here for 22 years as the coach so he has a lot of experience. And he probably has some things that he thinks are important that he can share with me and make me a better coach. That’s what I wanted to ask.”

I'd like to see this.

Just like vs Norwich I have no idea what will happen.

Will wait till i see the lineup to see how this one will go. We have no clear strongest 11 right now.

If he plays the same team as last time, questions should be asked.

Play Torreira as a DM. Ask him never to step on any part of the other half of the pitch.

Play Ozil as a No. 10. Let him go anywhere he wants.

Problem is Xhaka had a better game than the other midfielder's which is worrying in itself.

Mustafi must be benched for Sokratis and Tierney needs to come in.

Other than that ........... there wasn't much wrong with the line up.

Torreria came on and was as annoymous as Willock.

My main beef will be if he persists with players who are clearly letting us down, Mustafi is that man from the last game.
If your a CB and your not going to defend then there is no need for you to play.

Agree with the line up although it would be a brave call to bench Lacazette, and Holding didn't show anything last game but could be worth a go here.

Luiz for all the stick he gets did make two last minute interceptions and is good in the air.

If we don’t pick up three points we will be in serious trouble.

There is not much to choose from in those two numpties, they are both liabilities. If we have the same effort as last time we will be lucky to get a draw. Our team right now is very poor, they are all legends in their own head. :(
