Their body language was terrible today.

Vinicius Jnr plus cash for Auba then sell Laca to get a prolific younger CF, change the manager, build the defence, then we are back in it

He's not going to Madrid. Benzema is better than Auba and Real has superior options out wide. And there's no way Papa Flo would offer one of the brightest young talents plus cash in exchange for a striker on the wrong side of 30.

Auba will be 31 in June, now if he was a Drogba or Lewamdowski a big power man (he's not small) who wins headers and 50/50's without relying on pace, then he'd have a few more years, but he's not. Auba is all about pace and quick movement off the ball two things that fade with age, it doesn't help him playing in a team who's build up play is so pedestrian it made Southampton's defence look good.

No point trying to build a team around a player who in all probability will be gone come the summer, and even if he stays will be a shadow of the player from 2018, use his experience and ability for the next six months but be ready to move him on.

Guy can get us 30 goals a season for the next couple of seasons if he’s supported by a good midfield. Definitely top five in Europe. We can’t get better so cling on to him.

How can you say Benzema is better than Auba? Benzema is a false 9 like Firmino and Auba is a wing forward like Salah.

Its like saying Sokratis is better than Kolasinac.

Pretty simple really, unless we want to make the huge error of letting him go on a free transfer....
He has 18 months left with Arsenal and is not signing an extension so he needs to go in January.
End of story.

I'd let him go in jan definitely, cracks are appearing, hes not signing a new deal etc.

50m for Auba, 70m for Haaland.

If he's not going to sign then sell ............ but if he's not signing simply because of Emery then that just shows Sanahelli needs to go as well.

We can't keep wrecking the club hanging onto managers who clearly have no future here.
