Ramsey always played with energy and was direct I personally rate him higher than ozil, that will be controversial but you would get more from ramsey with the right players complimenting him than ozil in the same situation (consistently)

I didn't dislike Aaron, but are people forgetting the level of injury prone he was in the PL? His last season with us he got hurt.

All players that spent time under AW had medical history he breed a pile of hypochondria,
I am only judging off players we had at the time I would rather had kept Ramsey than Ozil at least you got 100% effort

Emery badly needed Ramsey to stay. Our collapse in league form towards the end started with his injury and the self-destruction at Baku made that all the more clear.

Ramsey's a big game player and had already scored a cup winner against a stronger Conte side.

Should've been give the earth to stay but unfortunately Gazidis and Wenger f***ked us and it was too late.

Emery and Raul couldn't work a miracle in the couple of months they worked together.

Ramsey was massively overrated by our fans because of his FA Cup heroics. All you had to do was pressure him on the ball and he would bottle it.

He's rated because he provided a consistent, if not world-class level of quality despite many squad changes over the years. He did a job even when he had Xhaka or Coquelin next to him and Giroud up top. He wasn't one who needed every other player to be firing on all cylinders to play well.

I don't agree at all. He was nothing but inconsistent, even with injuries. He couldn't control/run a midfield consistently. He made crazy runs that left our defense exposed, and was very average with the ball in tight spaces.

It's funny how a few months ago people were saying how we fell apart when Holding and Bellerin got injured and they were key to Emery. There was the expectation that we'd improve as soon as they came back. That idea seems to have gone out the window. We now move on to Ramsey. A player we can't get back.

Ramsey was

Having said that though, I liked Ramsey a lot. Dude ran his head off for us and always played hard, but we always overrate him when our other midfielders are shit and we think Aaron is our savior, but he always was just slightly over average in midfield. He was good in and around the box though and would come up with huge timely goals. However if he was still with us I'm sure he'd be on the bench as Unai didn't like him much, or he'd have him playing RB or something stupid cause Emery is a joke.

^ I'd go so far ahead as to calling him our most overrated player ever.

Ramsey has Cesc reputation with not even 10% of his talent.
