On the ball he was rash and disappointing, off the ball he was our best player.

Well too bad the game is played with a ball.

Lol. I chuckled at Elkopubber's defense of Douzi's performance. I like Douzi. But he had a bad game. Too bad Elko is too stubborn to admit it.

Not his best game but still better than most of the pubbers playing, sadly I think he is trying too much to compensate for the shit team and tactics we have.

Yeah. Quite a bad game from him yesterday, but he will have a bad game once in a while. Not a problem for me so far. The problem is I don't think he is given clear enough instruction on what he should do in every game. Our everchanging strategy has confused our players more than our opposition.

if that's the case teams have 100% possession all game and don't defend? Its just all attack right?

Overplayed.

Struggled in the last 3 games.

Absolute shit today again

Emery wrecked him after making him pomising.

Needs to get a break atleast in the Europa league games.

He didn't get a break in the Europa League.
Why not have Xhaka or someone like Burton on the bench to bring on.

naaah better play douzi another match.

HE has been poor on the ball.

Like Ceballos, dwells on it for too long.

He is losing his mojo, perhaps he needs a rest trying too hard to compensate for the shit we have in the team perhaps.

He is a good young player but he has been overplayed and overhyped.

Combined that with Emery being horrible tactically and changing lineups every week, he might be hitting a wall.

Young players need stability and a good structure to develop and he is not getting it under Emery.

A very poor game but it was tactically poor. The extra bodies in defence had no idea what they were doing and it just caused confusion.

This guy is a major part of the problem. Roy Keane writes in his book, in midfield you have to control it, pass it, and run with it. Problem is Guendozi and Torriera aren’t great at all three. Neither is Xhaka. Which makes our ability to build an attack a problem.

Guendouzi is one of the worst headers of the ball in the entire prem, if not the worst, his headers are beyond horrific, I've said that before.. I know no one cares too much because he is not a CB, but there are still situations in a match where he is in our box defending and his headers are hilarious, his jump is very weird and the ball just goes so wonky every time off his head, its the worst I have seen out of every player in the entire league.. its so weird his headers.

You can tell he was a boy that was taught 1000% to play with his feet and they never even covered headers.

He's being played in a midfield pair with Torreira as the defensive shield, problem is neither he or Lucas have the skill set or experience to handle the job, add to that a front four who provide about as much cover as a fig leaf and no surprise they are struggling ...

Both Lucas and Matteo give it 100%, the problem is when you are constantly under pressure every mistake is amplified ... frankly they must dread the thought of facing off against an extra man every week, knowing they will be once again be left exposed by teammates who don't give a shit ...

When Chelsea had just Mount and Willian behind Abraham for 35 minutes they looked great, as soon as Jorginho gave Chelsea the extra attacking midfield player they were always under pressure ... it took another 45 minutes for us to adjust (Ozil off for Willock) by then they were already fecked ... and it's the same tactics every week

If we line up 4-2-3-1 against Utd expect more of exactly the same thing - even a rookie manager can spot our weakness ... and it's not down to the two youngsters giving it their all, it's down to a piss poor squad, and years of piss poor management ...

Best header we have? Xhaka, best long passer Xhaka, most experienced central midfield Xhaka and yet he couldn't cope in this team - so without some help what chance does a 20 year old have?

Overrated massively. Can’t pass, can’t keep the ball, can’t head, has no creativity.
