The final irony for Wenger is that by clinging on at Arsenal he not only f***ked us up, but f***ked himself up too

If hed have left when he should have done he probably would have got a top job. Now hes just a washed up failure that nobody trusts

The players have all the power, clubs have distributed authority to multiple stakeholders and money men like Woodward have replaced football men in the board rooms. It’s a horrible time to be a manager. With the exception of Klopp and Guardiola, I can’t think of one other that has any real power. Even Simeone is struggling. It’s ridiculous that Mourinho and Wenger want to manage but can’t get top jobs.

I'm sure Wenger and Mou could get a job coaching somewhere, they just can't get the job they want.

Everton, Newcastle, Southampton, West Ham.....they could actually rebuild some credit if they swallowed their pride and took a step down.

No big club wants to give Wenger a job nowadays, they've seen what he did at Arsenal post 2005 and realise he's not a good fit for a club wanting to achieve success.

Despite all his words about having countless job offers, it's interesting he's been out of work for 18 months.

I hope this happens. I wouldn't mind having a team to get behind in the Champions League while Arsenal is struggling. And I'd really love for Wenger to win it, even if it wasn't meant to be with Arsenal.

The big thing is that Wenger is over 70 years old, he is way too old. No serious club is gonna take him, hence why Bayern shot down those rumors very quickly, they have zero interest in him, and its very clear and obvious that most top clubs are going for younger managers these days, in the 40-48 age range.. Wenger is
a old age pensioner,

Despite Wenger have many poor years at Arsenal, I think clubs will take him more serious if he was 50 years old, I reckon they might think about taking him on, but he is a very old man now, he is a great grandfather, someone needs to put the guy out of his misery and just retire him already.

As I mentioned before, clubs nowadays want head coaches not managers. This is a problem for Mou and Wenger. Football Directors will not want these big personalities around who threaten their jobs.

He could manage a pub team, that would keep him busy.

Well, according to Wenger, he has an appointment with Bayern coming up and he may still get the job. Would be nice to see him land a top job in all honesty but I'm doubtful.

I dont know why he doesn't take on a lower league club and try to get them promoted, build their fanbase etc

It would be everything he wants. Hed get to be supreme overlord of a club again, and its a project, which is what he apparently said he wants

He obviously wants to work with world class players. Once you have coached a Henry or a Fabregas you can’t easily step down to managing a second tier side. To me the ideal club for him is and Everton or Southampton. Proper top flight clubs with infrastructure that he could get competing for top four.
