Addicted and Sober are both excellent if you haven't read them.

Spot's Birthday Party is excellent

While not strictly an autobiography, it does I feel give the best insight out of all the Spot books, into Spot, his personality and what makes him tick.

People who don't pick up their dog's shit should have their faces rubbed in it.

When I take my dog for a walk at this time of year when the leaves are on the ground I have to doubly focus when playing dodge the dog shit. Especially at night.

Bastards. You can only pray they meet some kind of unfortunate event.

My dog's very clever, he backs his arse into a bush when he has a crap, so its hidden from view. If I take him for a short walk around the streets and he craps on a verge, I always pick up.

I was once playing football on some big sports field that people walked their dogs on and we were warming up. Anyway this bloke's dog craps on our pitch and he (the owner, not the dog) keeps walking!! So I shouted at him to pick it up and when he looked a bit indifferent about doing so, ran over and threatened him with physical harm.....so he did! I was more like hothead in those days!

You should have punched him anyway. :P

My dog isn't so fussy about where he shits. In fact, he'll often veer into someone's driveway before quickly squatting down for it. I have to drag him out onto the pavement. I always carry three or four shit bags in my pocket. It's not a nice thing to have to do, but comes with the territory of owning a dog.

I will admit to occasionally dropping the bag of shit into someone's recycling bin as I'm passing by. I can do that without breaking my stride. It's an art form

Popped into LIDL yesterday and was pleased to see they are selling mince pies again. So bought a couple of packs of 12 to keep me going! :)
