He is being overplayed imo. He shouldn't have come in

This is very much a real concern. He's very young still. He shouldn't be playing the amount he is currently.

After today's game it's clear to me this guy is our best midfielder and we need to build for the future around him and specifically him.

Really impressed me today.

Bad performance today.

Picked all wrong passes and broke attacks throughout the game.

He's being unnecessarily overplayed again.

Needs to get a break atleast in the Europa league games.

He needs to stop giving the ball away.

Was careless today.

Xhaka is apparently not in the right frame of mind so you take him our, who else is available?

Willock isn't good played in deeper positions. Torreria is best used as a DM however our midfield is so slow without him hes been used as a CM to carry the ball forward.

What impressed me was Matteo defensively, i thought we would get opened up like crazy and he did well to fight and cut out attacks. One the ball since Ozil was doing all the playmaking it made his usual role on the ball rather redundant however since nobody was making runs anyway and the strategy was all about going the ball to Ozil or at least Ceballos to find Ozil and hope we magic something together.

On the ball he was rash and disappointing, off the ball he was our best player.
