Arsene would never agree to be a stop gap manager and leave at the end of the season, if he came back it would be for good and it'd be the same old shit.

wenger at his worst set us up better defensively, better going forward and had a much more coherent midfield

the bar is genuinely that low with unai in charge
I think youve got alzheimer. Our defense was the absolute worst under wenger.

We conceded less goals and scored more in the same amount of games, and kept 7 more clean sheets. This is Arsene’s last 47 Prem games compared to Emery’s 47 in charge of us

What an L

This is after a total squad rehaul, Emery is a joke
Ring me when we concede 8 goals in a single match

That's your comeback? Ha!
I dont need a serious comeback because obviously the last 47 vs first 47 measure is flawed statistics as it doesnt account which teams are played are more in these additional games( which in emerys case this season are tottenham liverpool and united, i dont know in wengers case). Last season and the season before both dickheads conceded equal goals. Which is a big concern. Though our defense is a bit better lately. I feel rigjt now our attack is a bigger concern. 13 goals in 9 games is not very good

And a 1 off game at Old Trafford against the best team in the league is a horrible stat/point to argue as well. Not a good counter argument at all. You're better than that.

I think you will find our defense was worse last season, than Wenger's last - which was one of his worst!

Emery has made us worse defensively with better CBs, keeper and a proper DM. How the f**k do you manage to make us worse than Wenger's worst?!!! Its like he is doing it on purpose.

Lol @ Dejan!! What kind of wicketty wack argument are you coming with. Yes we took some spankings with Wenger but in 2 seasons he made us league champions after taking over from an Arsenal legend (via a caretaker manager and short appointment manager).

And don't forget, Wenger didn't have to overhaul the entire squad to put his imprint on us! The league title was won with a handful of changes in personnel. We went from most boring football played to most exciting.

What will Emery's report card say after 2 seasons with us? "Managed to blunt a potent attacking threat, managed to make the defending worse even after changing most of the back line, played shit football, made the club record signing look like a pubber".

This thread is ridiculous. Emery is total shambles. But come on! Wenger? No thanks!

Emery is AIDs, Wenger is terminal cancer.

Both are shit and should be nowhere near the club.

Emery is a horror show without a single redeeming quality.

Agree about Wenger though, anyone who wants him back is suffering from Stockholm syndrome/daddy issues.

No, but if you ask me Wenger completely focused on the team or the current Emery I would take Arsene every day.

That's prime Wenger you're talking about

He died a long time ago

We'd all take that one back. He's gone.

Work in progress? He's been a manager for 14 years. At this point, you are who you are.
