we don't need a playmaker if he's going to play 4-3-3. the system relies on quick transition and fast interplay to get to the opposition box. if he plays 4-2-3-1 we need a playmaker to unlock defences so it would make sense to have an ozil/ceballos type player in the team. im struggling to see how ceballos fits into this team.

I think he's still plenty good enough, he just doesn't do what Emery wants. It's not Emery's fault, it's nobody's fault except Ozil himself.
