Maybe I'm being overly pessimistic but I don't think we played that good today. We needed an offside goal to fire us back into the match and we only played for 30-40 minutes of the match. Ten minutes somewhere in the first half and 30 minutes after getting the goal.

We were good for far more than 10 minutes in the first half imo.
Created plenty of chances that half too....
I'd love to know what the total number of shots on goal was for the whole match because I think it'll be in our favour.

I completely agree with the Song comments, the guy is growing in stature with each game he plays.

Does anyone have any links to the goals yet?

A turning point? Too early to say as we went into a downward spiral after the United win of same score

I was drunk and talking throughout the game im ashamed of myself but f***ing hell i cant beleive we won thats brilliant. We still havent got enough for the title imo we still need to beat fulhams but we've defo got the quality to beat anyone, just not the mentality.

Id like to see us going on a proper cup run this year. Just concentrate on a top 4 finish. Title is too far away imo

:rofll:

Scolari thinks Terry's two footed challenge was a "normal foul"

Hmm, perhaps Santa should bring him a copy of the rules for Christmas...

Maybe but defensively we were great which was the main thing for me. We were playing Denilson on the wing, Nasri who is just back from injury, Song who is not a regular and Ade and RVP were playing on opposite sides up front from what they are used to so i don't think it is that bad we were not consistently fluent up front in front of the Chelsea defensive machine.

All in all i am very very happy with everything in that match, we showed guts too which was fantastic. Of course we can't judge Cesc as a captain properly until the season is over but this is a great start for him. Onwards and upwards.

He he thats cos this was our "good" week. Its 1 a.m and I thought I'd head to bed but I just remembered how inconsistent we've been all season so I'm gonna call up a few friends and whip out the green stuff and enjoy the "high" :)
