If he values his job he better learn English like yesterday, he can't afford to have this issue as a running commentary.

Emery has a communication problem. The Athletic talked about this in their article this week.

Allegedly, Emery had a meeting with Ramsey and his agent as soon as he arrived at Arsenal. After the meeting ended, the only thing Ramsey got from the entire meeting was that he's an Arsenal player.

Even in Spainish, Emery has a tendency to speak a lot without saying anything. It should be clear from his press conferences. All he ever says is, "work hard, protagonist, and they have the quality and we need to work hard, tactics, tactically strong, defense."

whats this mess a bout every team should actually outscore the metric?? how does that work?? you've done studies?

it wasnt pretty.... they hadda few good chances... i think the only one i thought " he shoulda scored" was dosts header that went wide.

where we had auba, torrito, esr and willock all blowing chances that i thought SHOULDA...and xhka nailed the xbar...

obviously it was a weird game and lineup... but... the problem is you keep assuming this team is gonna play like the Henry Years... that ship has sailed...

we need still to see what kieran, bellend and holding bring... and we needa replace chambers, mustafi and even sokratis..... maybe AMN too, and reiss if he doesnt wake up....

It helps so much [to have Ljungberg there],” Saka said. “Sometimes when I don’t understand, when the coach is trying to communicate with me, I have a better communication with Freddie sometimes, he speaks better English.

Good grief.

This is the line for me. Bring in Eddie Howe till the end pf the season when Arteta is ready. No messing about with Simeone or Allegri, they don't speak English at all.

His inability to speak fluent English should be the last thing ppl should be concerned with. Specially in today's day and age, clubs have translators etc. Football is an universal language. One doesn't have to be able to speak Shakespearian English to be successful.

Criticisng Emery's English is just a stretch.

True, it shouldn't be a problem, but that don't mean that it isn't, even if just a slight one. I can understand him when he talks, but it's not so much the words being incomprehensible, it's the overall message. He doesn't express it well or use the right words. Therefore I can see the overall message being hard to get from some.

Freddie was brought in for a reason. Firstly to help promote more youth which was overlooked by Unai last season. Secondly because he’s seen as a candidate for future manager

If you are going to play cowardly football like he makes his team play, you are going to open your self to attack and face shot after shot.

The fact that there are strong parallels in numbers between Arsenal and his Sevilla team (the stats above, poor road record, etc.) shows that there is problem with his management tactics and style.

Cant simply blame it on the players, injuries, etc etc.

He should be the first one that would need addressing.

I know Starman will scoff at this but I feel it's very telling: we've only beaten Newcastle, Burnley, and Watford in our last 13 games. Newcastle 2x. Burnley 2x. Watford once.

That's Newcastle who beat man city last season and won at Spurs this
Burnley who drew at man Utd and Chelsea and beat Spurs last season
And Watford who beat Spurs last season

That's Man City who finished champions last season.
ManU that are shit. Chelsea that won the Europa League. Spurs the UCL Finalist.

You can't compare your normal with someone else's worst. This is reframing at its best.

If we lost to Villa in the weekend, there's no shame losing to the 7-time English champions, right?

Man utd have a 677 million pound squad
If they are shit it is there fault
Against other teams we played in that period
That lost at Everton Liverpool Spurs brighton
And at home to crystal palace wolves Liverpool Spurs

City lost at Leicester, Spurs champions league
Lost home to crystal palace
Drew home to Spurs

Chelsea lost home to Leicester
At Everton wolves Liverpool

Spurs lost at Liverpool
Home to Liverpool and wolves
This has not been a great period for Arsenal but it is representative of a competitive league

Right here !

No need to over react. Great win, but average performance. Could have been a different story if Frankfurt took their chances.

Really happy with Martinez and Saka though, great night for them both

It's really competitive which is why we can't ignore the signs. It's not going to get any easier so we need to step up our game.

The EL is really a 3rd tier contest until SF.
But must say was impressed w/ Willock and Saka today. Smith-Rowe needs more game time though.

183 million pound pub team
And I shall reserve the right to enjoy Arsenal victoys thank you
